Xenial have been instructed exclusively for a very exciting opportunity in a mass growth SME business (£20+ million T/O) based in Central London. Our client is a group of businesses who are looking to bring their accounts in house and starting this journey by bringing in a Financial Controller/Finance Manager to help with this, collate all accounts and start the build the process to onboard a team.

This opportunity has a direct path to CFO and is with a very modern thinking and exciting business to be a part of. For this they are looking for someone with experience of working within an SME/Start up who is a qualified accountant with a keen eye for detail, growth strategy and experience of creating, building and signing off statutory accounts from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has reached their full potential in their current business and is in a position to become the head of a finance function of their own for the individual to grow and progress alongside the business.

This role is office based near London bridge (Our client is open to 4 or 5 days per week) and there will be the opportunity to work from home once settled. Office hours are 9.30am – 6pm with 1.5hour lunch plus a half hour break in the afternoon.

Duties:

• Creating monthly management packs (from start to finish).
• Statutory accounts preparation.
• Budgeting & Forecasting.
• Profit and loss accounting.
• Reconciliation of all accounts.
• Invoicing (payables and receivables).
• Payroll and pensions
• Banking

Person Specification:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
• SME Experience
• Working experience of all duties listed above
• Advanced excel
• XERO knowledge
