My client is a consultancy firm based in Romford who are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.
This role is ideal for someone local and offers up to £35,000 for the right candidate.
Job Description
- Production and review of monthly management accounts
- Completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Completion of quarterly forecasts
- Submit and review quarterly VAT returns
- Calculating sales commissions and bonuses
- Ensuring sales invoicing is produced prior to deadlines.
- Completion of Cash Flow forecasting.
- Monthly transactional duties.
- Making sure accruals and other journal entries are completed each month and reconciled to the Balance Sheet
- Variance analysis ensuring reporting and investigations of variances to budget for use in senior management meetings
The Successful Applicant
- Working knowledge of the duties required and the ability to discuss finance related issues to non finance teams in an efficient manner
- Strong academics including studying a professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
